International Patient Department (IPD)

IPD Responsibilities
Answering patients’ questions via phone or email.
Coordinating the patients’ affairs with the physicians and hospital units including clinic, polyclinic, operating rooms, wards, admission and discharge units.
Informing the patients of the estimated medical costs prior to their trip.
Contacting the healthcare firms referring patients to the hospital (facilitator companies) and interacting based on a valid contract, from admission to after discharge and full recovery even after they have returned to the country of origin.
Coordinating with customer support sectors outside the hospital to provide the patients and their accompanies with required services.

IPD Strategy
Developing strategies and programs in collaboration with different stakeholders, including Travel Agencies, Facilitator Companies, Laboratories and all the Tourism Development Centers, and introducing the unique attractions of Kish Island while offering health care, treatment, and rehabilitation services via mounting health festivals.

You can apply for International Patient Department services in the following ways:
- Contacting IPD consultants via telephone, email or the website of Kish Hospital and getting required information on how to use health packages
- Having all medical records, medication details, MRI, Echocardiography, CT scan documents and any referral note from your doctor
- Coming to IPD Unit at the specified date to meet IPD consultant
- Meeting with IPD physician and registering the patient’s medical needs
- Primary registration to get required services
- Getting health care services (diagnostic and treatment services) based on international standards
- Paying the medical bills based on the hospital instructions and getting payment receipt
